ST. LOUIS — A new drama series titled “DTF St. Louis” has announced its casting of acclaimed actor Richard Jenkins.
Warner Bros. Discovery announced in November that HBO officially ordered “DTF St. Louis” as a limited, seven-episode series. The series title also uses the acronym “DTF,” which is slang for “Down to [four-letter expletive].”
Jenkins will join actors Jason Bateman and David Harbour for what HBO describes as “a darkly comedic limited series about a love triangle between three adults experiencing middle-age malaise that leads to one of them ending up dead.”
Jenkins is most widely known for his work in the Netflix series “Dahmer-Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” “The Shape of Water,” and “Step Brothers.”
While the series includes “St. Louis” in its title, it will not be filmed in St. Louis but in Atlanta. It still remains unclear how much of the series could have connections to St. Louis.
A timeline for the new HBO series has yet to be released.
