ST. LOUIS – Once again, the Saint Louis Science Center has been nominated for several categories within the USA TODAY Reader’s Choice Awards.

One of St. Louis’ staple places to visit is nominated for three awards:

Best Free Museum

Best Science Museum

Best Planetarium

This year marks the first time the James S. McDonnell Planetarium is in the running. Last year, they were nominated for the best free museum and best science museum.

According to the Saint Louis Science Center, they have finished within the top five for the past several years.

“Because of people and organizations like you, our Science Center remains one of the best in the country and is one of the few free science-based museums in the nation. We’re honored that USA Today has once again recognized our institution through nominations,” a release from the Saint Louis Science Center said.

Voting for the three categories is open until 11 a.m. on Feb. 10.
