ST. LOUIS – Scattered rain and storms are here this Friday morning and will hang around throughout the day ahead of an advancing cold front.
The chance for severe weather is low, but anytime you have a storm, there can be heavy downpours along with the lightning and thunder. There could be some storms around for the afternoon rush, but hopefully they will be moving out ahead of the first pitch at the Cardinals game Friday night.
Behind the cold front, we will see a cool down for the weekend. The weather on Saturday is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy, with highs expected in the upper 60s. This temperature is just below average for this time of year, but it will feel cool after the warm workweek. Partly cloudy and near 70 F on Sunday with a slight chance of an afternoon storm.
Monday will bring breezy conditions and a jump in temperatures, back to the 80s for highs. Rain and storms are likely Tuesday; some could be strong to severe.
