ST. LOUIS – Early Friday morning crowds were already seen across St. Louis shopping centers to grab the best deals.
Starting at Midnight, FOX 2’s Nissan Rogue Runner was out looking for early morning madness, and people were already seen waiting outside a local Cabella’s.
The cooler weather has some waiting in their cars, but it has not stopped the morning crowd from showing up early.
From heading out and getting a head start for a specific deal shoppers have been waiting for to keeping the family tradition, online sales and early Black Friday deals have not seemed to stop Friday’s shoppers.
In St. Charles, Missouri the first 250 shoppers in line at Bass Pro Shops received a gift card.
Over at the West County Center, it was a steady and busy increase of people making their way to a busy mall scene where marketing director Christine Poehling detailed a bunch of amazing deals this year, which you can find on their website.
If you spend $200 at the center during your Black Friday shopping, you’ll also be able to get a free digital picture package with Santa.
Poehling says in addition to increased crowds as opposed to the last few years, they’ve also had an increase in product placement, with fully stocked stores and shelves.
In addition to big-time deals of 20, 40, and 69 percent off, there are special deals for first responders, veterans, etc.
By the 8 am hour, there were lines wrapping around Lego, which had several big holiday deals, and Lululemon, which has a completely new storefront.
