MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. – Shorty’s Diner, a diner known for its classic breakfast fare, is “coming soon” to Maryland Heights, according to a sign recently posted at the location.

The diner is preparing to open at 12004 Lackland Road, occupying the site of a former Hardee’s, just a short distance from Westport Plaza.

According to an “About Us” page on Shorty’s website, the company prides itself in “serving up hearty meals” and “classic diner fare with a modern twist.” The menu will feature selections like eggs Benedict, biscuits & gravy, bacon, corned beef hash, country fried steak and coffee.

The restaurant has not yet publicly announced an opening date, but St. Louis Magazine reports they are currently expected to open in May.
