HAZELWOOD, Mo. – One person is in custody for a shooting at a Hazelwood QuikTrip.
According to a statement from the Hazelwood Police Department, the shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. in the 7400 block of North Lindbergh Boulevard.
Police claim officers first received word of a fight in progress at the convenience store. Before officers arrived, they received an update that multiple shots had been fired and the suspect had fled.
No one was injured in the shooting. Investigators eventually identified and located the suspected shooter.
