FLORISSANT, Mo. – A lucky lottery player scored a nearly half-million-dollar prize during a recent Show Me Cash drawing, purchasing the winning ticket in Florissant.
The Missouri Lottery reports that the winner matched all five numbers in a March 9 Show Me Cash drawing, securing a $462,000 jackpot prize. The winning ticket was sold at a QuikTrip at 2105 N. Highway 67 in Florissant.
Lottery officials confirmed his ticket was the only ticket sold to match all five winning numbers from that night. The winning numbers were 1, 2, 4, 7 and 23.
“At first I was in disbelief,” the lucky winner told Missouri Lottery, via a news release. “Then, after claiming the prize, it became a little more real. But it was really real when it hit my bank account!”.
The Missouri Lottery’s Show Me Cash is drawn at 8:59 p.m. daily with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until someone wins.
According to the Missouri Lottery, the odds of hitting a Show Me Cash jackpot are about 1 out of every 575,757 chances.
