SLMPD investigating shooting as victim ‘would not cooperate’

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man injured.

According to a release, officers responded to the 5400 block of Queens Ave. around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, they located a 33-year-old man with a gunfire wound to his hip. According to police, the victim would not disclose any information regarding how he got shot or other details.

He was transported to an area hospital and remains in stable condition.
