Snow buildup blamed for carports collapsing at St. Charles apartment complex

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Snow buildup likely caused several carports to collapse at a St. Charles apartment complex in recent days.

Residents tell FOX 2 that several carports for came crashing down on Friday, damaging an estimated 50 vehicles.

When residents contacted the apartment’s office, they were told the carports are amenities that are provided and the apartment complex has no liability for them.
