ST. LOUIS – A home caught fire in south St. Louis overnight.
The fire happened around 1 a.m. Saturday on Tennessee Avenue off Schirmer Street in the Carondelet neighborhood.
Initially crews thought someone might have been trapped inside the home but later they found the person safe outside.
Fire investigators have been requested to assess the damage and determine what caused the fire.
Crews continue to monitor for hot spots and air out the home. There are no reports of any injuries.
