ST. LOUIS – Some cloud cover may roll in and out Wednesday morning; otherwise, we are set up for another sunny and warm day with highs again near 80 F.
Into Thursday morning, a storm system will pass to the south of the St. Louis region. Scattered showers and storms will be possible around daybreak south of I-44 in Mo. and I-64 in Ill. Wake-up temperatures will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.
The Thursday morning showers and clouds will roll off to the east and we’ll see a sunny and warm afternoon Thursday, with highs in the mid 70s. The main weather watcher of the week moves our way for Friday.
Warm and windy conditions during the day on Friday, highs will be near 80 F and winds could gust to 40 mph. Thunderstorms, possibly severe, will be possible starting late in the afternoon and continue into the evening. The main threat will be damaging winds, but hail and some tornado development can’t be ruled out.
Still quite windy and also cooler Saturday, highs in the 60s. Winds will gust to 30 mph. The chilliest day ahead will be Sunday, with highs in the 40s to low 50s. Back to the 60s for St. Patrick’s Day Monday.
