ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – Some property owners in St. Charles County will be receiving 2025 Notices of Real Estate Assessment beginning the week of April 28.
Notices will be sent out in three mailings, which include:
Washington, Wentzville and Fort Zumwalt school districts
Francis Howell, St. Charles and Orchard Farm school districts
And to people approved in 2024 for the Senior Tax Relief program
Missouri state law requires the Assessor to revalue their real estate property in the county on Jan. 1 of odd-numbered years.
According to collected data, the collective data of residents in St. Charles County increased by 8.4% The county has seen an increase since its last assessment in January 2023.
The notices that are sent out will have a QR code that can be scanned, giving property owners insight into their property via the Assessor’s property database.

Property owners have only 10 days from the mailed date of the notice to schedule an informal hearing with the Assessor’s office. These hearings will take place from the last week of April into early June.
