ST. LOUIS – Officials at St. Louis Lambert International Airport say they expect to see their largest crowds ever for Thanksgiving travel. AAA predicts record-breaking travel numbers beginning Wednesday morning for the Thanksgiving holiday period.

Lambert officials say the record crowds that they expect to see at Lambert during the Thanksgiving period are really a continuation of an upward trajectory for the airport when it comes to the amount of people traveling.

TSA projects nearly 203,000 people to depart from Lambert during the overall Thanksgiving travel period, which started last Friday and continues through next Monday.
