ROCK HILL, Mo. — A Missouri lottery player in Rock Hill called his daughter first when he realized he had won $100,000. Now he plans on buying her a new car.
The win came from a spur-of-the-moment decision to purchase a “$100,000 Diamond Dazzler” scratchers ticket while waiting in line at On the Run on Manchester Road. Reflecting on his win, the player tells lottery workers that he was glad he waited until he got home to play the game, as he was initially in disbelief.
The “$100,000 Diamond Dazzler” ticket, which costs $5, and there is $4.3 million still unclaimed, including one more top prize of $100,000.
