ST. LOUIS – Uncle Bill’s Pancake House, a long-standing old-school breakfast restaurant in south St. Louis, is set to close doors next week.
A manager with Uncle Bill’s confirms with FOX 2 that the restaurant will close on Oct. 8. Uncle Bill’s is located at 3427 S Kingshighway Blvd. The restaurant has served customers with pancakes and other classics since the 1960’s.
Sauce Magazine was among the first to report on the upcoming closure Tuesday. A worker told Sauce Magazine the owner’s planned retirement and finances were factors in the restaurant’s planned closure.
The restaurant will be open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends before it closes.
