ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Lambert International Airport welcomed a large number of guests in 2024—specifically, 15,946,730 travelers.
That number is the highest it’s been since 2003, when the airport saw over 20 million passengers.
This new record is also just above pre-pandemic numbers, when the airport saw 15,878,527 travelers in 2019. It is also a 7% increase from final numbers in 2023.
“We are very pleased with last year’s performance, and we believe the trajectory will only increase in the coming years,” Airport Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge said in a release. “This recent 20-year high shows the strength of our relationships with our airline partners and the support we receive from the region as we all focus together on growing STL.”
The announcement of numbers comes after a bustling holiday traveling season at the airport.
