ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (STLMPD) has launched a new website that will make it easier for users to navigate.

The new STLMPD website provides a new modern design that will bolster its usability and accessibility for the public to navigate on mobile devices and computers.

The new website is a complete overhaul of the previous model, which was last updated in 2009 and 2010.

The new website has a range of new features, such as a new Data and Reports section, the expansion of the Crime Statistics webpage, a new section that will detail the department’s policies and procedures, and a news section that will provide alerts to make it easier for residents to learn about what’s occurring in their neighborhood. The new site also paves the way for the department to introduce interactive crime mapping and other tools soon.

The new STLMPD website is a key initiative in an effort to increase transparency with the public. The STLMPD aims to provide the community with additional tools to stay updated about the crime taking place in neighborhoods and how the department is working to enhance safety throughout the city.
