Following his arrest, Arce was returned to the custody at the St. Louis County Juvenile Detention Center.

Before his escape, Arce had been charged in St. Louis County Circuit Court with first-degree burglary, first-degree robbery, stealing a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, and two counts of armed criminal action.

SLMPD reports that a second 17-year-old juvenile was taken into custody Thursday for allegedly withholding information about Arce’s whereabouts.
