ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department say they responded to a bank robbery in the Lindenwood Park Neighborhood.

Officers say they responded to the Commerce Bank in the 6300 block of Chippewa at around 10:20 a.m. on Saturday, March 8.

They say a man with short hair, wearing a grey jacket, jeans, and carrying a black backpack, walked into the bank, handed a teller a note and demanded all of the money.

The bank teller complied and handed over money to the suspect who then left the bank.

The suspect was last seen traveling eastbound on Chippewa.
