ST. LOUIS — Army veteran Nina DeAngelo has been named the recipient of FOX 2’s monthly Proud to Serve award, recognizing her work as Executive Director of the Mid-America Veterans Museum in St. Charles.
DeAngelo, who received an honorable discharge from the Army, has dedicated her career to serving the St. Charles community. Before taking on her current role at the museum, she worked with several St. Charles County Chambers of Commerce, where she helped local business owners expand their enterprises.
As Executive Director of the Mid-America Veterans Museum, DeAngelo focuses on preserving and sharing veterans’ stories. Her responsibilities include expanding the museum’s collection of veteran narratives, developing fundraising initiatives, and growing the volunteer program.
According to her award nomination, DeAngelo commits significant personal time to advancing the museum’s mission. Her dedication to supporting fellow veterans and managing the museum’s daily operations has made a lasting impact on the St. Charles community.
