ST. LOUIS – Rain and storms are gone and our gusty winds are starting to ease. Tuesday will still be mild, sunny skies with highs in the mid 60s.
A second cold front arrives late Tuesday, swinging winds to the northwest and opening the door to much colder air. As the front clears the area overnight, we’ll see some clouds roll through, but there is only a slight chance of a sprinkle, mainly north and east of St. Louis.
The bigger story will be the return of gusty winds and the push of colder air. Wake up temperatures Wednesday will be in the 40s and highs will only be in the low 50s. Winds gusting 25-35mph will make it feel colder than that.
Wake up temperatures Thursday will be in the 30s with wind chills in the 20s. Thursday will be windy and cold, highs only in the 40s and wind chills in the 30s through the day.
Winds will start to ease Friday, but it will still be quite chilly with highs in the 40s. The forecast stays dry through the weekend.
