ST. LOUIS – Stray Rescue of St. Louis is hosting an emergency adoption event tomorrow to address the overflow of dogs at its shelter.

The shelter, located on Pine Street in downtown St. Louis, is currently flooded with dogs, prompting the need for immediate community assistance.

The emergency adoption event aims to alleviate the strain on the shelter and find loving homes for the dogs in need.

The event will take place outside the shelter, where staff and volunteers will line the streets with dogs ready for adoption.

The adoption event is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., providing a two-hour window for potential adopters to meet and take home a new pet.
