ST. LOUIS – SUE: The T. rex Experience opens this Saturday at the Saint Louis Science Center and will run through mid-September. The exhibit will feature several installments and experiences, including SUE, a Tyrannosaurus rex skeletal replica measuring 40 feet long and 13 feet tall.

When viewing SUE’s skeleton, guests will be led through a narrative, multi-media light show explaining different aspects of her skeleton.

A triceratops and a full-sized replica of an Edmontosaurus battling SUE will also be featured.

Corpse flower expected to bloom at Missouri Botanical Garden next week

The exhibit will provide opportunities for guests to experience smelling a dinosaur’s breath, touching a dinosaur’s or mammal’s fur, and also hearing a T. rex roar.

Real fossils will also be featured, such as a T. rex rib and a triceratops skull, and it will even include a map of the site where SUE was excavated in the 1990s.

Tickets are required to enter and can be purchased at the Saint Louis Science Center website. Tickets are $12 for adults (ages 13-59), $8 for children (ages 5-12), and seniors (ages 60 and older.) If you are a Science Center member, tickets are only $6. Children ages 4 and under are free.
