ST. LOUIS – Police are investigating a 61-year-old man who robbed a credit union Thursday morning.

The incident occurred a little after 9:00 a.m. at the Anheuser Busch Employee Credit Union located at 432 Lynch Street.

The suspect entered the credit union and presented a note that announced a robbery and that he was armed.

No weapon was displayed and the teller complied by pulling cash from their drawer. The suspect left the credit union by foot shortly after.

Investigators were able to identify a possible vehicle the suspect used in coordination with the Real Time Crime Center.

Once the information was shared with other law enforcement agencies in the area, the suspect was found and taken into custody.

The investigation is still ongoing.
