ST. LOUIS – Taco Bell is celebrating its extensive history by launching the new Decades Menu, reviving fan-favorite menu items from across five decades.

Through the food chain’s new Decades Menu, Taco Bell will reintroduce five iconic menu items that have been fan favorites since the restaurant’s founding in 1962.

Starting Oct. 31, Taco Bell will reunite fans with five nostalgic items from each decade, including the ’60s Tostada, ’70s Green Sauce Burrito, ’80s Meximelt, and the ’90s Gordita Supreme. The ’00s popular Caramel Apple Empanada will roll in a little later than the others, arriving in restaurants starting Nov. 21. Each menu item will be available for under $3.

Along with the new food additions, the fast food chain will roll out new limited-time hoodies and cups that will feature unique, throwback designs from the 1960s-2000s to give fans the opportunity to show appreciation of Taco Bell’s rich history.

“Everyone remembers the moment they fell in love with Taco Bell and that one special menu item that brings you right back,” Taco Bell’s Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Montgomery said. “The Decades Menu and the merch we’re creating are an ode to our rich history and a love letter to our fans, whether they’ve been rolling through our drive-thru for decades or are just about to discover their first Caramel Apple Empanada.”

To accompany the Decades Menu, Taco Bell will introduce the new $7 Luxe Cravings Box that will feature the ’90s Gordita Supreme, along with a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Double Stacked Taco, chips and nacho cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink for a limited time.
