MISSOURI — Forbes Travel Guide released its 2025 Star Award Winners, and only one Missouri hotel made the list.
According to the award list, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis in downtown Clayton was noted as the only four-star hotel with its “big city sophistication with Midwestern warmth.”
It’s the 22nd year in a row the hotel has received the four-star award from the travel guide that rates luxury hotels, cruises, and spas.
The list spotlights The Ritz-Carlton’s spacious and comfortable guest rooms with private balconies and views of downtown Clayton. The hotel also features a fitness center with panoramic vistas, a luxury spa offering facials and massages, and a sauna.
Two restaurants inside the hotel, the Lobby Lounge and Casa Dona Alfonso, were also mentioned in the travel guides notes.
Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis and The Raphael Hotel in Kansas City were mentioned in the travel guide as “recommended” spots but were not awarded stars.
