ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis restaurant known for exquisite seafood dishes and craft cocktails has earned a spot on Yelp’s “Top 100 Places US Restaurants” list for 2025.

Yelp’s annual ranking highlights both casual eateries and fine-dining experiences across the nation that deliver “extraordinary dishes” and memorable dining experiences.

This year, Yelp ranked Yellowbelly as the 83rd best restaurant in its “Top 100” list.

Yellowbelly, which opened in 2018, is located in St. Louis’ Central West End neighborhood.

The restaurant has quickly become a local favorite with tropical vibes under the leadership of food industry veterans Tim Wiggins and Travis Howard. Yellowbelly offers more than a dozen unique cocktail selections to highlight “sugarcane and agave spirits,” while its dinner menu features specialties for both “adventurous and less daring diners,” according to the restaurant website.

Yellowbelly is located at 4659 Lindell Blvd. and open five days a week, Tuesday-Thursday from 5-9 p.m.; Friday 5-11 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

In order to create its “Top 100” ranking, Yelp said its data-science team used data generated from community submissions. The team considered factors such as ratings, number of reviews, and volume of submissions.

“As restaurant owners across America concoct award-winning dishes in unconventional settings, Yelp reviewers are eagerly voting them up, both at home and on their travels,” says Yelp.

This year’s top restaurant in the “Top 100” is Holbox in Los Angeles, which offers a mix of seafood and Mexican food.
