ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. – A crash in St. Clair County killed three people Monday night.
According to Illinois State Police, officers responded to the scene of a head-on collision around 8:45 p.m. along U.S. Route 50, west of Clinton County Line Road.
Two occupants were pronounced dead at the scene, and a third occupant was transported to a hospital before succumbing to injuries.
Police said Route 50 was closed until 1:30 a.m.
