ST. LOUIS – Two people are dead after two separate murders in the city of St. Louis Wednesday night, including one at McDonald’s.
These deadly shootings happened less than four hours apart in different parts of the city. One near downtown, the other in north St. Louis City. There are no indications from the police that the crimes are related and there are also no suspects in either case.
One of the shootings took place at a McDonald’s on the 1100 block of North Tucker Boulevard around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday night, just north of downtown. When officers arrived, they found an adult man who had been shot. The man would later die from his injuries.
At this point, police are not releasing the name or age of the man who was murdered. There is also no word from the police on what may have led to the violence.
Nearly four hours earlier, police responded to another deadly shooting in north St. Louis near the intersection of Union and MLK just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. When authorities arrived on the scene, they found an adult man who had been shot. The man would later be pronounced dead.
There are no additional details from police Thursday morning on the man who was murdered in the shooting.
