ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. – Two men were found shot to death inside an apartment in East St. Louis on Wednesday night.
According to the Illinois State Police (ISP), officials responded to a call around 11:40 p.m. after a relative found two men dead inside John Deshields Homes, a public housing complex located on Bond Avenue.
At this point, police aren’t confirming many details on the case, but a neighbor at the scene told FOX 2’s Nissan Rogue Runner Brian Howe that a man went to a family member’s house and discovered his male relative and another man both shot dead.
East St. Louis Police, Housing Authority Police and authorities from ISP have all been at the scene and it appears that ISP will lead in handling this case. There is no information from police about details on the victims or whether there are any potential suspects in the case.
