ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Two men were left injured after an overnight crash on Highway 30 early Thursday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, the incident occurred a little after 2 a.m. on Highway 30, east of Northwest Boulevard, involving a Nissan Sentra and Mazda 3.

Officials say the crash happened after the driver of the Nissan Sentra was traveling eastbound on Highway 30 and lost control of his vehicle, causing the vehicle to cross the median and strike the Mazda 3 head on.

Both drivers involved in the crash were transported to a nearby hospital suffering from serious injuries. According to MSHP, the driver of the Nissan Sentra was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, while the driver of the Mazda 3 was not.
