MISSOURI – Check your old lottery tickets! Two unclaimed Missouri Lottery prizes worth $1 million each are set to expire in the upcoming months.
According to Missouri Lottery, the unclaimed million-dollar prizes come from Mega Millions drawings on Oct. 25, 2024, and Nov. 15, 2024.
The first of these two prizes was sold at a Branson convenience store known as The Pantry in Branson at 164 Fall Creek Drive. The drawing included the white ball numbers of 23-26-35-41-43 and a mega ball of 7. This prize is set to expire on April 23, 2025.
The second of these two prizes was sold at a Kansas City QuikTrip location at 10150 N.E. Cookingham Road. The drawing included the white ball numbers of 5-17-35-55-69 with a mega ball of 19. This prize is set to expire on May 14, 2025.
According to Missouri Lottery, only around 1 in every 12.6 million tickets yields a $1 million prize with five matching white ball numbers, while only around 1 in every 303 million tickets yields a jackpot with five matching white ball numbers and matching mega ball.
Missouri Lottery says the two million-dollar prizes aren’t the only big prizes up for grabs. There are five other unclaimed prizes worth at least $50,000 sold between Sept. 30, 2024, and Jan. 10, 2025.
All of these prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date, or else the prize will expire, and those funds will “benefit Missouri public education,” according to Missouri Lottery.
