No one was hurt in the incident.
“St. Louis County police officers were conducting an investigation relative to a stolen vehicle that was believed to be used in several car break-ins and potential business burglaries in St. Louis County,” St. Louis Metropolitan Police Lt. Col. Eric Larson said.
Spike strips disabled the vehicle and the suspects ran in the area of the 5600 block of Goodfellow Blvd. Police said the suspects pretended to be part of a party taking place in the neighborhood.
One was arrested near Lena and Acme Avenues and the other was arrested near Goodfellow Boulevard and Leonora Avenue. The suspects appeared to be juveniles, according to police, but their ages were not immediately confirmed.
This is a developing story. More will be posted as it comes into the FOX 2 newsroom.
