ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Authorities have arrested two teenagers in connection with another teenager’s death in late October in north St. Louis County.

The St. Louis County Police Department says two 16-year-old boys were taken into custody on Thursday in connection with the death of Jacob Bell, 18, on Oct. 26.

The two accused teenagers are now being held at the St. Louis County Family Court on a second-degree murder charge.

Investigators say, on the night of Bell’s death, he was found inside of a vehicle that had struck a utility pole in the 7000 block of Dawson Place. He was also found with a gunshot wound. Bell was rushed to the hospital after that, but he was later pronounced deceased.
