ST. LOUIS – Three years after his passing, Tyre Sampson’s family is honoring his memory by opening a snack shop to give back to the Madison, Illinois, community.

Sampson, a 14-year-old from St. Louis County, died after falling from an amusement park ride in Orlando, Florida. He attended City Garden Montessori School.

By opening the snack shop, Tyre Sampson’s family is creating a lasting impact in the community, turning their grief into a source of hope and remembrance.

Tyre’s shop can be found at 422 Madison Ave. in Madison, Illinois. 

Tyre’s father, Yarnell Sampson, said the snack shop is one of many initiatives to give back to the Madison community. According to his father, 10% of the snack shop’s profits will go back to the neighborhood.

Tyre Sampson’s snack shop will give away free food and other items during its grand opening week.
