ST. LOUIS – A man shot overnight in north St. Louis remains in critical condition at the hospital.
According to a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson, the shooting happened around 2:15 a.m. in the 2100 block of Adelaide Avenue in the city’s O’Fallon neighborhood.
Police located the scene of the shooting but found no victim. While searching the area, officers received word of a shooting victim that had arrived at the hospital.
Officers arrived at the hospital and were told that a 31-year-old man had been dropped off with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said the victim was unable to speak with investigators due to his condition.
