ST. LOUIS — Penguins at the St. Louis ventured outside of their enclosure on Wednesday for a day of fun in the snow.
The St. Louis Zoo said these outdoor adventures outside of their enclosures are spontaneous and based on the weather.
Several of the king and gentoo penguins were seen playing and woddling around in the freshly fallen snow after Sunday and Monday’s snowstorm.
The St. Louis Zoo will be closed on Friday due to another round of snow heading toward the St. Louis area late Thursday night and into Friday morning.
