ST. LOUIS – Visitation is set for Thursday for Colin Brown, the O’Fallon, Ill. teen who died after being hit by a stray bullet while he was on his way home from a hockey game.

Brown attended CBC High School in Town and Country, where the visitation will take place. Emotions will be running high Thursday as family and friends of Colin Brown start to say their final goodbyes to the 16-year-old.

Brown was loved by many people and his tragic death has hit the St. Louis area and hockey community very hard. The troubling circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation by St. Louis police.

Wednesday night, one of the hockey teams that Brown played on took to the ice in Affton for the first time since his death. A banner was up in memory of Brown and players honored him on the ice, standing in a circle and tapping their sticks on the ice.
