ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Walmart has announced future plans for remodeling stores throughout Missouri over the next few years.
The retail chain announced nine new stores planned to undergo remodeling over the next five years in Missouri.
“Our stores often serve as the heartbeat of the communities we operate in, and these remodels are a testament to our dedication to enhancing that role,” Glenda Fleming Willis, Walmart Senior Vice President for the North Business Unit said in a press release. “By investing in our stores and associates, we are not only improving the shopping experience but also reinforcing our commitment to being a vital part of the community’s fabric, helping to build a brighter future for all.”
The store has plans to create new displays, expand departments, fulfill growing number of online customer orders and adding new private screening rooms for Walmart pharmacies.
Scheduled remodeling locations include:

- 29 SW 1st Lane, Lamar, Mo.
- 1180 W 19th Street, Higginville, Mo.
- 2000 N Walnut Street, Cameron, Mo.
- 400 S Fran, Butler, Mo.
- 11900 St. Charles Rock Road, Bridgeton, Mo.
- 201 SE Salam Street, Oak Grove, Mo.
- 11601 E US Highway 40, Kansas City, Mo.
- 908 Walton Way, Richmond, Mo.
