WANTED: Four suspects accused of slashing St. Louis police car tires

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help with identifying four suspects accused of slashing tires of St. Louis police vehicles last week.

Investigators say officers from two marked police were on separate assignments around 3 a.m. on April 25, one near South Broadway and another in the 700 block of Clark Street.

When officers returned to their patrol vehicles, both were found with multiple slashed tires.

St. Louis police have since reviewed surveillance video from the area, which linked four unidentified individuals who occupied a blue Pontiac Torrent to the incidents. The Pontiac vehicle had no license plates.

One suspect was described as a white man, wearing a soiled white tank top, green/brown cargo shorts, white socks and no shoes.

Two suspects were described as wearing all dark clothing with a shirt or a “gator” face mask pulled over their mouth and nose.

A fourth suspect was described as wearing a gray t-shirt, white basketball shorts, and black Nike tennis shoes.
