ST. LOUIS – We reached 64 F on Sunday. If you liked that warm-up, then you’ll really like Monday.
Warm temperatures are in store, approaching records. Highs Monday are expected to be around 70 F with sunshine. We haven’t seen temperatures that warm since November 24 last year. The record high for the date is 75 F, set in 1890. But changes are on the way.
A cold front will move through the area Monday night, bringing clouds and cooler temperatures, but no rain. We’ll wake up in the 30s Tuesday and see highs in the upper 40s. Mostly cloudy skies will linger Tuesday.
As we head into Wednesday, wet weather will return. Rain and some storms are expected throughout the day, with highs in the low 50s. We’ll dry out for Thursday and clear out for Friday. But more rain looks likely for Saturday.
