ST. LOUIS – We will be warming back up to start the work week. Highs were in the 60s all weekend, but we’ll pop well into the 70s on Monday under partly to mostly cloudy skies.

By this afternoon, a strong south breeze will kick up, and it is going to be sticking around. Monday night will be breezy and mild.

Out the door temperatures Tuesday will be in the 60s. It will be windy and warm Tuesday, with highs in the mid 80s. With the strong winds and dry grass and leaves, fire danger will be quite high Tuesday.

Wednesday will still be breezy and warm, with highs near 80, but a cold front arrives late Wednesday, bringing a good chance at some much-needed rainfall. Widespread rain is expected late Wednesday into Thursday.

It will be much cooler for Halloween Thursday, with highs near 60. Thankfully, the rain is expected to end around lunchtime. It does look dry during Trick or Treating hours, just cooler.
