ST. LOUIS – Not as cold out the door Tuesday morning and a nice January day ahead.

We’ll see plenty of sun Tuesday, feel a kick-up of an afternoon breeze, and enjoy highs around 50 F. The forecast is on repeat for Wednesday.

Our next storm system to watch will lift out of the desert southwest and move our way on Thursday. Increasing clouds early in the day, with rain expected in the afternoon and evening. A few thunderstorms will also be possible. Highs near 50 F.

Despite all the snow early in the month, this will be the first measurable precipitation in almost three weeks. Rain showers will linger into Friday.

A touch cooler, but dry behind the rain on Saturday. Another pop-in temperature arrives for Sunday.
