ST. LOUIS – Washington University plans to demolish a former St. Louis church to make way for a new campus building.

The St. Louis Preservation Board approved the university’s request to take down the church at Forsyth and Skinker boulevards. The university will need to receive a building permit to proceed with the demolition.

The university plans to build an academic student services and administrative office on the site. They currently already own a building adjacent to the church that is currently used as an IT service center for students.
