LOUIS — A Webster Groves high school senior wins $5,000 after receiving the top prize in “The Missouri My Impact Challenge.” Lauren Knapp’s ‘Bags 2 Beds’ program uses recycled bags to make durable and weather-resistant sleeping mats for the homeless. She says not only is it durable in most environments, but it also takes plastic bags out of landfills.
