ST. LOUIS – Election officials report a voter turnout of around 20% in St. Louis City and 30% in St. Louis County for the August primary elections.
The numbers come courtesy of the St. Louis Board of Election Commissioners and Saint Louis County Election Board via social media platform X. The St. Louis City official is not quite total, accounting for people who had voted when polls closed at 7 p.m., but were still in line to vote.
This is how the reported voter turnout stacks up against the last two August primary elections before a presidential election.
