ST. LOUIS – A young woman was carjacked at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon in St. Louis City’s DeBaliviere Place neighborhood.
According to a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson, the incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. in the 5500 block of Pershing Avenue, just north of Forest Park.
Police said the 23-year-old victim just parked her Audi A4 and was walking to a residence when two men approached her. The pair displayed handguns and demanded her car keys.
The victim handed over her keys and the suspects drove off in the Audi. She was not injured, police said.
