ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – The St. Louis County Police Department is investigating the death of a woman Friday.
Officers were called to the 5800 block of Grace Ave. in Affton around 11:15 p.m. Thursday. Upon arrival, they discovered the woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The woman was transported to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Officials say the shooting appeared to stem from an altercation between people who knew each other. Police do not have a suspect in custody.
