ST. LOUIS — A car that fled the scene hit a woman, killing her in north St. Louis. The incident occurred late last night in the Vandeventer neighborhood, at the intersection of Page Boulevard and Whittier Street. Police reported that the woman, along with another pedestrian, was crossing Page Boulevard against traffic after their ride arrived. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The police’s accident reconstruction team is investigating the hit-and-run.
