ST. CHARLES, Mo. – A St. Charles City police vehicle was struck twice, following a pursuit that began in St. Charles today.

The St. Charles City Police Department was alerted to a 60-year-old woman who was reportedly screaming at vehicles around the 3700 block of Mexico Road.

According to SCPD, the woman—who is from St. Peters—also failed to stop for the O’Fallon Police Department.

When officials attempted to approach her, the woman got into her vehicle and attempted to flee the scene. In her attempt to flee, the woman hit a St. Charles Police Department patrol car twice, according to SCPD. 

A police pursuit was reported by officials just before 12:40 p.m., and continued east into St. Louis City. Officials used tire deflation devices and the alleged suspect’s car stopped in St. Louis City, just before 1:30 p.m.

SCPD reported that no injuries are known at this time. However, officials noted that the woman was arrested and taken to St. Charles, where warrants are being sought.
